I felt the need to support an independent game and do see the passion and culture intertwined into Hapunan. Since it's your first project, I applaud you for the work that has gone into this as a solo developer. I'm sure it took a lot of time and patience especially given your story of not having the best equipment to develop a game. I hope that you will be able to continue your passion and that you are able to get the tools you need in the near future. - Fellow Filipino gamer from America.

GAME OF THE YEAR! i did NOT expect this game to scare me as bad as it did , but it was sooooo worth the scare because it was AMAZING! Good job dev!!!!!

I didn’t expect this game to be amazing! It’s a low-poly, PSX-style game, but it perfectly captures the essence of Filipino culture and features a really compelling story. The jumpscares are plentiful, and some genuinely made me jump. One even gave me goosebumps—a rare experience for me! While there are still a few bugs, they don’t significantly impact the immersion or overall gameplay. I’d rate this game a solid 8 out of 10 Baluts!

Hello po!!So I tried out the DEMO and I must say, I enjoyed it a lot. Sa DEMO pa lang, I could already say this game was great! I might consider buying it din soon. Thank you so much for the experience, Yikon. I really loved it! Looking forward to more Filipino games!

This game had me on edge the entire time! 😱 The atmosphere is **insane**, and the tension just builds and builds—I was gripping my mouse the whole time. You start off just trying to make a living, and before you know it, you’re wrapped up in this terrifying mystery where *someone is always watching you*. The NPCs giving vague warnings, the eerie late-night streets, and the feeling that you're never truly safe—pure horror perfection! 🔥 I was literally **holding my breath** during the last part. Every sound made me think someone was coming for me. This is indie horror at its finest! 10/10 would play again... if my heart can handle it! ❤️🔥

As someone who grew up in the **Philippines**, this game hits **hard**. 🇵🇭 The cultural details, the **voice acting**, and even the background noises (the rain, the radio, the tricycle) feel so **authentic**. The way the game transitions from an innocent night of selling balut to uncovering a **terrifying conspiracy** is just genius. 😨 The story had me **hooked**—one minute you're just locking up your house, the next you're dodging killers and uncovering secrets about the **Barangay Captain**. 😳 This game is **more than just horror—it’s an experience**. If you love psychological horror mixed with cultural storytelling, Hapunan is a must-play! 🔥🔥🔥

One of the best horror games I've played in a while! The way the game keeps you on your toes is incredible. Every time I heard a sound, I felt like something was watching me. The mix of mystery and survival is perfectly balanced. Definitely worth playing!

I’ve played a lot of indie horror games, but Hapunan stands out because of its unique cultural setting. It’s refreshing to see a game that takes inspiration from Filipino life instead of just generic horror tropes. Excited to see what this developer does next!

I was expecting a simple horror game, but I got a whole experience. The story had me hooked, and the jumpscares were brutal! I nearly fell out of my chair at one point. If you love horror, you NEED to try this one!

I thought selling balut at night would be simple… I was so wrong. 😱 The **tension** in this game is unreal! From the **eerie whispers** to NPCs giving creepy warnings, I felt **constantly watched**. And when the jump scares hit? I nearly fell off my chair! 😨 The **final showdown** had my heart racing—who knew my own father would be involved in this nightmare? 🔥 Absolute horror gold!

This isn’t just a horror game—it’s a **psychological thriller** that messes with your head. 😵💫 The way the **quiet streets** make you feel unsafe is genius. NPCs **act like they know something you don’t**, and it builds up to an **insane** climax. The final twist? I had to sit in silence for a minute to process it. 🫠 One of the best indie horror games I’ve played!

I thought I wasn’t afraid of horror games… then I played *Hapunan*. 🫠 The **Barangay Captain** scared me **more than the actual killers!** 😭 Every sound made me **jump**, and the **dark alleys** felt way too real. The moment I realized I wasn’t just selling balut but part of something **much bigger**—pure terror. 🔥 This game will haunt me for a while!
